[ memory 1 - ring of honor ]
Raylin> Raylin pauses. "You know what? Let's find out. There's a Ring of Honor here, correct? Swims in Shadows, the Immaculate Delegation challenges you to a duel for the illegal and dangerous research you possess of the Realm Defense Grid!" She points accusingly at Swims again.
At Raylin's point, all hell breaks loose -
Most of the air elementals bristle, except the thunderbirds who start cheering for violence. The water elementals are fairly passive. Skullstone looks disturbed, Coral damn near jumps out of their seats.
* Ichera 's hand instinctively jumps for her sword, but she has the presence of mind to keep from drawing it, "Oh boy, here we go..."
* Fukofv stares awestruck at Raylin. That was *his* fucking cue, and even *he* hadn't gotten to that part yet. "Yeah, why DON'T we fucking do that!? Hell," He points across the room, "I'LL TAKE ON EVERYONE WHO FUCKING OPPOSES THE MOTION TO SEARCH HIM FOR EVIDENCE, TOO!"
* Itsuki winces.
The Speaker coughs. "We see no reason to support an h--" And then the door pretty much explodes inwards, adding to the chaos as Azar enters the room. THAT makes Coral get up, along with basically everyone seated. "The Immaculate delegation of Wavecrest demands the right of honorable battle with Coral for their support of the Silver Pact's infiltration within Realm territory and acquisition of Realm secrets."
Ichera> "Oh, there he is."
Raylin> "YOU SON OF A BITCH, WE WERE HERE FIRST!" Raylin spins, stabbing a finger at Azar.
* Itsuki covers his face with his hands. Oh dragons oh dragons oh dragons.
"Again, we see no reason to sup--" "Skullstone supports the right to an honorable battle and an honorable death." "Oh! Oh! Northern Air supports!"
Northern Air looks really smug at the prospect of someone getting their ass kicked.
* Fukofv stands up even higher. "MY BROTHERHOOD CHALLENGES SESUS AZAR TO AN HONOR DUEL FOR THE RIGHT TO REPRESENT THE IMMACULATE DELEGATION IN AN HONOR DUEL!"
Itsuki> "FUKOFV FOR THE LOVE OF THE DRAGONS WOULD YOU STOP"
Raylin> "WHAT HE SAID!" Raylin points to Fukofv.
Raylin> "AND IF WE WIN I GET HIS SPEAR!"
Luiso> Luiso's looking as smug as Northern Air. Eh, like element, like caste.
Luiso> Er, Aspect.
* Ichera looks like she woke up in a shouting match. Because she did.
Itsuki> "Why are you trying to fight everyone here can we not just focus on fighting the person we came here to fight"
"But you're the delegation of Starf--" ",You've as much evidence as they! You were there when-" "And you used that as an opportunity to spite the Realm in the end, just like I-" "I did NOT infiltrate ANYTHING-"
The Speaker waves his hands frantically, elementals are cheering everywhere, and oh god Coral just drew weapons when Azar pointed his spear, and it looks like Swims is looking for a chance to make a getaway. Skullstone is the only one still seated, looking perturbed.
Raylin> Raylin is ready to spring on that prick Swims if he makes a break for it, cracking her knuckles.
Luiso> Luiso's voice booms briefly, strong as thunder. "SWIMS IN SHADOWS. YOU HAVE BEEN CHALLENGED, NOW DRAW. YOUR. BLADE." Luiso's body crackles with lightning briefly.
* Itsuki sighs and takes out his bow. SO I GUESS IT'S TIME TO KILL EVERYONE
Ichera> "You know I can't believe this wasn't the plan to begin with," she draws her daiklave and jingles the rings on the back of the blade.
Fukofv> "HEY, SLOW THE FUCK DOWN." Fukofv puts one arm in front of Luiso. "WE HAVE A FUCKING RING FOR THIS, LET'S DO IT THE RIGHT WAY."
Swims apparently doesn't give a fuck, because that motherfucker is RUNNING. The Righteous Lady and Azar throw down as he does, Azar's anima lighting the rug beneath him on fire while hers ignites into totemic, filling the room with sunlight. Skullstone looks considerably more bothered now.
Itsuki> "I thought it was." Itsuki starts pulling out arrows.
Fukofv> "..FUCK THE RIGHT WAY."
Ichera> "AFTER HIM!"
* Luiso obliges his glorious leader's command, and bounds clear across the fucking room after him!
* Fukofv suddenly draws both blades and charges after Swims. "GET BACK HERE, YOU ASSHOLE!"
Raylin> Raylin takes off after the bastard, spear slamming into the ground out of the sky. She grabs the handle, rips it from the floor and uses it to vault after Swims, shouting. "YOU'RE NOT GETTING AWAY, YOU BASTARD!"
* Itsuki just fires at Swims. Fuck you, buddy.
* Fukofv vaults over his desk after Swims, shaking the entire room and knocking shit over all over the place as he lands. "I was going to do this the fucking right way! Now look at this bullshit!"
He dives behind a desk and out a side door, scrambling past hooting elementals and arrows and shit. Pretty much every desk in the room has been overturned aside from Skullstone's, an island in a sea of chaos right up until a stray projectile decapitates one of his hair spikes. The last thing you hear as you exit the room is a roar of fury - "RESTRICTION RELEASED, NOW T--"
Outside, Swims is running the fuck away towards the tents. Where does he think he's going?
* Ichera kicks off her shoes (fuck running in heels) as she runs, she's pretty quick when not packing over a hundred pounds of sword.
* Luiso 's probably the first to get out, so FUCK YOU YOU ASSHOLE YOU AREN'T GETTING AWAY. His arm crackles with lightning, and he looses a violent jolt of lightning mid-jump, aiming for his damn lunar back. Damn lunars.
* Itsuki gets arrows all over the place as per his usual modus operandi.
Raylin> Raylin is still chasing him!!! She kind of hoped she would have kicked him in the back with that cool vault thing, but it didn't work out. Maybe next time...
* Fukofv is right behind Ichera, ripping up a seared scar in the earth under his feet in his wake, furious scowl painted on his face. "IN THE NAME OF PASAIP, I WILL STRIKE YOU DOWN, TRAITOR!"
"Fuck fuck fuck fuck FUCK--" He stops running when he realizes he isn't getting anywhere, and turns. "Fine! Have it your way!" He crosses his arms with a crackling surge of essence - and as he uncrosses them, five moonsilver tentacles erupt out of the ground, swatting arrows and Luiso out of the sky. "You can kill me, but it's already out there! We'll find the keys and end your misbegotten rule!"
